  •  Created websites (top ranking in Google and other top search engines)
    including video and interactive web marketing. First web in Southern Iowa to incorporate online video/ interactive marketing

  • Trained staff in computer networking, marketing, customer database,
    and general computer operations- RE/MAX and Bridge City Realty.

  •  Database “Target” marketing - creation and implementation to 
    increase sales and lower advertising costs (1/5th of market share first year)

  •   Award winning first year in sales presented by the Iowa Association of Realtors

  •  Created “VIP List” of daily email newsletters to potential customers

  •  Remodeled, refurbished, and designed our new building downtown in
    conjunction with the “Main Street Iowa Program”

  • Created “chain reaction” marketing by developing advertising which
    caused clients to respond and thereby become a part of the database-
    over 2,000 potential clients the first year.

 Director of MIDI Technology/Sales

  • Implemented a Customer Relation Management (CRM) database-
    raising sales over 200% in local market first year and consistently thereafter.

  • Partnered with key centers of influence creating music making and performance opportunities

  •  Created and implemented MIDI Lab Rats- and a series of MIDI related
    customer fundament brochures, booklets, and lesson plans.

  •  Numerous public presentations of Music Technology

  •  Created West Music Newsletter- a quarterly publication to all past and
     present customers- bulk mailing southern Iowa market.

  •  Created and set up in store technology labs in all locations. Reviewed
    and picked new product lines of software to carry in all locations

  •  Headed national 800 “Tech-line” for customers

  • Created and trained staff in fundamentals of technology with an
    emphasis on Music Technology in all 8 locations

  •  Composed and created music for use with the different digital
     instruments and group ensemble performance for children and seniors.

  • Lead individual residents with physical therapy.

  • Instruction on daily living skills including money management, hygiene and social skills and vocational training.

  • Prepared factory for CARF accreditations

  • Redesigned work stations to increase productivity by 30%

  • Worked with MR, MI, and geriatric clients in home and work setting.

  • Created and lead the “downtime program” averaging over 100 people daily in education training while workstations were closed.

  • Supervised staff off contract artists and musicians including hiring.

  • Developed marketing plans for small business including TV, radio and print ads

  • Created “Singing Telegrams” an upscale version with original music, costumes and props- 
    specifically design for the recipient- including gift delivery.

  • Created “MIDI” orchestras for singers and theatre to enhance practice or in lieu of a full-scale orchestra.

President/Director/Sales and Marketing (non-profit)

  • Raised ad revenues over 300%- by phone solicitation thereby funding an additional show for the season. 
    Restructured ad sales for long-range development. P&L statements and accounting.

  • Program design layout, advertising sales (chair), budgeting, developed sponsorship packages, and season ticket sales

  • Composed original score for “A Night of One Acts” “Only an Orphan Girl” 
    and other production music as needed including choral arrangements

  • Organized volunteers for set production, house, lighting, orchestra, and sound

  • Regained corporate funding for upcoming seasons.

  • Created the company database of past, future, customers and sponsors for telemarketing and direct mailings

  • Planned and coordinated annual Awards Banquet and dinner theatre production

Extracurricular activities

·       Pennsylvania Place, CCRC community- volunteer- helped train and setup marketing database, plan for strategic web placement 2009.

·         2008 Worldwide recognition via web, print, and TV- US, Europe, Asia - Mona Lisa out of 12,000 Post it Notes.  Featured in the 3M national promotions for the following year 2009.

·         Gothic outdoor kitchen- creation, design, and implementation of over 17 tons of hand laid concrete to create an outdoor kitchen.

·         Chair/set designer/marketing, annual Uncle Bucks Halloween Party, a southern Iowa celebration in conjunction with “The Great Haunted House Hunt” “Voodoo on the Bayou” and “Dracula’s Castle”

·         Co-chair Ottumwa Railroad Days. Created a community wide scavenger hunt for the golden railroad spike. Organized business donations for the grand prize.

·          Numerous chairs for organizing volunteers and fundraising for community enrichment of non-profit organizations including schools, service leagues, and churches. Garden Tours- Southeast Iowa Symphony, Heartland Humane Society. Featured Tour of Homes- Christmas Open House and Service League of Iowa.

·         Featured performer in “Twice as Grand” South Ottumwa Savings Bank’s 100th birthday celebration. Featured speaker/performer AARP Ottumwa Iowa, Iowa Calf and Cattle Conference, Home Show of Southern Iowa, Service League of Southern Iowa, South Ottumwa Dixieland Days. Featured performer grand opening of the new southern Iowa events center “Bridgeview” Ottumwa, Iowa.

·         International student exchange Cluj-Napoca Romania 1985.

·         Music Director- Hamilton Methodist Church, Bethany Baptist Church, Lightshine, Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean Jimmy Dean, and Trenton’s Music Revue.

·          Event planner for travel, entertainment, and sales venues for specialized population and non-profit organizations.
