Annual Halloween Celebration hosted by Bridge City Realty, Uncle Bucks Bar and Grill, and The Dandy Dollar

3 months prior

1. Begin construction on new props in conjunction with theme of the party.
2. Order any needed items for props or prizes so there is plenty of time for them to get to you.
3. Begin planning on the aspects of the parade- start lining up volunteers for float construction and for participation (the more people surround your float the bigger the presentation looks)
4. Have tickets printed for the event
5. Create web page for online reservations or ticket sales
6. Shoot TV commercial- plenty of time before it has to run
7. Book DJ for the evening

1 month prior

1. Organize the decorating committee- get in and have the whole place transformed in a day (this is probably your best advertising as we have people specifically coming to the restaurant just to see the decorations- this is what you want)
2. Start employees and staff on getting their costumes ready- all staff is to be costumed around current theme
3. Ticket sales begin- have your ticket salesman buy the tickets from the sponsors and then resell them, this is the guarantee that free tickets are not going out unauthorized
4. Send out any free tickets to prospects
5. Line up the judges for the contest (sponsors, their employees, and families are not eligible for any prizes)
6. All sponsors use the logo with their regular ads during this month
7 Start advertising
8. Line up 2 people to get digital pictures of the celebration- it should be understood that they are there to work
9. Take the parade float out for a test drive- this is to ensure that all fixtures stay attached when driving at higher speeds- do any revamping now

1 day before the event

1. Meet with all staff that will be working the crowd. Make sure they know what the specials of the evening are and who the sponsors that will be attending are. For the masses to have a good time the wait staff must be well informed of how things run during this hectic event.
2. purchase candy to be thrown off the float

Day of the Event

1.. Have parade staff arrive at least an hour early to get set up- if throwing out candy let the adult participants do this kids tend to exhaust your supply in the first block.

After Event

1. Post all pictures on the web- this gives the audience yet another reason to visit your web(s)
2. Plan the theme for the following year
3. Run a BIG ad with picture of the $1000 winner of the costume contest and directions of how you can go to the web and see all the party pictures
